About Him
After too many years of single life it would be nice to meet someone again, hopefully for a happy, harmonious and permanent relationship. I miss a partner for the movies, to entertain friends with during lavish dinners or Sunday lunches, someone to head off with for weekends in a remote cottage in the bush or the desert, to explore foreign countries and cultures with, to chat about what the day brought at work, how the kids are coping, what the government does and generally how weird and wonderful our life is. I try to balance a demanding job with maintaining a sizable circle of friends and a healthy social life, while spending enough time alone with those that are truly close to my heart and gaining fitness of body and mind through gymming, travelling, hiking, reading, bicycling and exploring the richness and complexity of life.

A healthy dose of integrity would be good, coupled with honesty and lack of pretense, some close and long-standing human relationships, especially with family, a sharp mind and plenty of compassion. I like strong women, who know what they want, but achieve it through tact, charm and diplomacy, while making me shiver a little when they get very angry.
