Words ... I'd rather get to know another in the old fashioned way, the organic way, ie by physically interacting and engaging. Get to know another at face value rather than with the picture that words cannot encapsulate.
I'd love someone to explore the abyss of my mind, get to know me deeply, in their own fashion. And not from what I may fail to capture here on paper. Exploring the mind is a favourite past time of mine.
I'd love to meet people, people with whom I may share similar interests. It could be someone completely the opposite of me, or someone very similar. With any luck, I may find someone special, and I dearly so yearn for such a connection. But I've been around too long to believe that true connections are easy and plentiful. They take work. Just as good friendships do. And often, a good friendship can be so much better than a marriage, so I'm told. However, I'd be so grateful for whatever Divine Providence may place in my path.

I'm a firm believer in idiosyncrasies - people can't be put into boxes. And besides, I abhor being placed in a box. There's so much potential in me, in each of us. ... sometimes it takes that special someone to bring it out, to bring it to the surface.
I tend to be a deep thinker, enjoy writing and enjoy contemplation, indulging in thoughts. I embody a dry sense of humour, and find the funny in life. I endeavour to make my existence one of interest, and I don't believe that it can be said of me that I am boring.
