I have old fashioned values in a newly fashioned world.
I thank people and look them in the eye .
I create a new future where important things get more attention than urgent things. I laugh a lot, but cry in some movies.
Reading is my solace and chatting about reading inspires me to read more.

For inspiration, I walk and hike - I love the wildlife, birds, sub-sea and plants. I have been a teacher and it makes me share what I see and care about.
I spend money on experiences, so my wheels and wardrobe will not impress...
I am often too PC, but I can speak truth to power.
I don't like polarisation or generalisation (how's that for irony).
But I give positive people more chances - generally.
My love for travel became a lifestyle. I hike and love sleeping under the stars, seeing new birds and animals, being in forests and offline and on song.
I still play sports when called upon - and when expectations are low, but enjoyment high.
DIY and learning are constant companions and waste is a word, not an action.
