I consider myself to be easy-going, friendly, hooked on a healthy lifestyle with health & wellness a passion.
I enjoy dry, subtle/witty humour & am very young at heart.
I love spending time on the beach, walking along the water's edge at low tide.
I am not into clubbing or bars. I do enjoy a social glass of wine or beer. Totally dislike crowds & crowded places.
I find nutrition to be not only important but fascinating - I always read the ingredients. I Like organic gardening & keep bees in the Bay area.
I love all animals & green issues but I am not a radical greeny. I am cautious by nature but don't mind taking calculated risks. I am naturally curious.
I like to braai or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
I love a variety of sports, both watching & participating. PE had its own olympic ice rink, & I really enjoyed ice skating locally! We had a dedicated small group of Free-style skaters who met regularly. Sadly, the Icerink closed on Sunday 31July2022. I will be using RollerBlades on the streets from next week. While I can move perfectly on ice, please don't ask me to dance...I have 2 left feet on the floor ;D
I am a romantic at heart & like to treat my lady to eating out at a good restaurant (Mediterranean food is great) chilling at friends, going to the beach or out on day trips to a nature reserve etc.
I am a child of the 60's, was a teen Hippie in a world of love & peace (not perfect) unlike today's, selfish, brash world..... best music from the 60's & 70's.
I have travelled over the years to UK, Ireland, Greece, Israel, Turkey, & all of Europe.
I think outside the box & might be considered off-centre' as I don't generally follow the crowd. Love all animals & birds, especially ducks
I have 2 artist daughters, eldest doing her Masters degree.

My ideal match would be young at heart, relaxed, light-hearted, down-to-earth, fun-loving, sincere, humorous, trustworthy, passionate, compassionate, diligent, intelligent, self-respecting, health-conscious, equally at home in the great outdoors as well as at the theatre or concert.
She should be a music-lover, sporty and not necessarily limited to any of these... :-)
Mr or Mrs Perfect do not exist but possessing some of these qualities would be nice.
Rather, someone who feels connected to the earth......free-spirited, maybe with a hippie heart ;D
