About Her
I am curious about life, people, consciousness and the world we find ourselves in. I probably qualify as an outlier: independent-minded, somewhat unconventional, comfortable being different and still fascinated by how much there is to discover about myself and life.
I love nature and photography — from tiny insects and flowers to wildlife and the Big Five. Give me a camera, an easy walk somewhere beautiful and time to stop whenever something catches my eye, and I am happy. I enjoy tai chi, gardening, cooking, creative activities, reflective writing, science, technology, puzzles and conversations that wander well beyond small talk.
Personal growth is simply part of how I live. I am interested in becoming increasingly authentic, peaceful, joyful and responsive to life rather than trying to control everything around me. My ideas continue to evolve as I do — including my understanding of relationships.
I am not here because my life is missing a man. I already have a full and interesting life. I am curious about what becomes possible when two people who genuinely enjoy their own lives discover that they enjoy life even more in each other's company.
I don't know through which doorway such a person may eventually appear — perhaps here, perhaps somewhere completely unexpected. That uncertainty is part of the fun.
For now, I am simply open to discovering who crosses my path.

Rather than describing an ideal man, I am becoming clearer about the experience I would like to have with one.
I would like us both to already enjoy our own lives. Then neither person arrives to fill a hole or rescue the other; we meet because being together adds something beautiful to lives that already work.
I imagine ease, curiosity, humour and playfulness. Two independent people who can talk honestly, think together, challenge each other without fighting for superiority, learn from each other and also be completely comfortable in silence.
Personal growth matters to me. I resonate with someone who takes responsibility for himself and his experiences, is emotionally available, and can respond thoughtfully to life rather than automatically react to it. Someone open-minded and curious rather than rigid or dogmatic. A fascination with science, technology or how things work would certainly earn bonus points. 😉
I would like to experience genuine intimacy: being able to be ourselves with each other and feel accepted, appreciated and valued. I want warmth, affection, touch, playfulness, sensuality, laughter and that wonderful feeling of looking forward to seeing each other again.
I value health and wellbeing, but I am much more interested in a peaceful walk through nature than racing up a mountain. I would also like someone who has enough time and freedom to actually enjoy a relationship.
I don't need to know in advance where a connection will lead. I would rather meet the person, experience what exists between us and allow reality to answer that question.
